Dr. Gong is a Co-founding Partner of YuanMing Capital, and was previously one of the founding members of China International Futures Company (CIFC), former chairman of the company. Dr. Gong has over 20 years of experience in the futures industry and has held high profile leadership positions throughout her tenure at the company. Under her leadership CIFC carried out numerous financial restructuring deals, and successfully integrated twenty companies through mergers and acquisitions.

In the logistics industry, Dr. Gong was once a crucial member of China Cheng Tong Group, participating in the design and implementation of China's corporate headquarters of the company, involving extremely complicated restructuring projects. In the health field, Ms. Gong Yueyun founded the Kangtai International Health Industry Company.

Under her leadership, China International Futures Company was named "China's most influential business" throughout the years 2008, 2009, 2010 for three consecutive years. In 2010, she was part of the core managing team running the company's entire operations; she contributed critically to the restructuring work of the corporation. Under her leadership CIFC maintained their position as China’s largest player in the futures market, and also the best performing company within the futures industry. Prior to joining CIFC, Dr. Gong accumulated more than 20 years working experience within Chinese government agencies, engaging in scientific research and management.
